Today (July 31st) marks the second day of re-registration for new students at the Politeknik Statistika STIS for the 2018/2019 academic year. The re-registration process will take place over three days, from Monday (July 30th) to Wednesday (August 1st). The re-registration schedule for new students is based on their region of origin. Students from Jakarta, West Java, Central Java, East Java, and Yogyakarta are scheduled for the first day. The second day is for students from Banten and Sumatra, while Bali, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB), East Nusa Tenggara (NTT), Kalimantan, Sulawesi, Maluku, North Maluku, Papua, and West Papua are scheduled for the final day.

The re-registration process begins with document verification, submission of diplomas, a Civil Service Agreement Letter (SPID), personal guarantees, and a statement letter. According to Mr. Wahyudin, the head of the re-registration committee for this year, the challenges faced during the process lie with the new students. "Many of them have not signed the SPID or have signed it incorrectly." As a solution, students who have signed incorrectly can have their signatures corrected here. Students whose SPIDs haven't been signed by their parents must return home or have their parents come here.

After document verification, new students must have their fingerprints taken, then fill out their bank account details, have their photo taken, and finally, have their PDA (Academic Uniform) and PDO (Sports Uniform) measurements taken.
