On Monday (May 6), the HAISSTIS donation event was successfully held at the Auditorium of Politeknik Statistika STIS. This activity served as a form of alumni contribution to their alma mater by providing assistance to several students of Politeknik Statistika STIS.

The Chairperson of HAISSTIS, M. Nasrul Wajdi, stated that this donation was a concrete step to support the next generation of statisticians. He also frequently encourages students to persevere and stay motivated, emphasizing that living away from home is part of the effort to improve one’s life.

Meanwhile, in her remarks, Erni Tri Astuti, M. Math., highlighted the impact of the discontinuation of the government-sponsored education stipend (ikatan dinas). This policy change has directly affected students who now have to bear the cost of accommodation and daily necessities on their own. She expressed hope that with the goodwill and support of alumni, students would be even more motivated to complete their education at Politeknik Statistika STIS.

The event continued with the distribution of HAISSTIS donations to the recipients, represented by Lintang Pertiwi and M. Ridlo Ubaidillah. The event concluded with a group photo session and a prayer.
